Jacqueline and Bruno TOSI have been active members of our association for many years and are also professional Master Glassmakers.
They have already run several workshops and conferences for our association. Jacqueline is also in the process of creating a Mackintosh stained-glass window for our centre in Port-Vendres, which we’ll tell you more about later.
They offer and organise introductory and advanced courses in the artistic and craft techniques of stained glass and GRISAILLES PAINTING ON GLASS. Here is their programme for 2025:
– From 24th to 28th February in Céret (Pyrénées-Orientales)
- From 17th to 21st March in Céret
- From 21st to 25th April in Céret
- From 16th to 20th June 2025 in Soucelles (Maine et Loire)
- From 21st to 25th July 2025 in Kilkenny (Ireland)
- From 15th to 19th September in Céret
- From 3rd to 7th November in Céret
AND in addition to these dates, they can organise courses in your region, according to your calendar but with certain conditions i.e. for a minimum of four people.
They would also like to invite you to a “dinner conference” on Saturday 8th March 2025 at 19h.30 at the Table du Mas in Perpignan: GLASS, colours and symbols.
WHAT SETS THEM APART AND MAKES THEIR REPUTATION
- The course instructors are not amateurs trained in a few days… they are recognised professionals who have been practising their art for many years, their references showing their seriousness and skills: suppliers to HISTORIC MONUMENTS and BUILDINGS in FRANCE, specialists in Heritage Classes, STARS and TRADES AWARDS…
- The courses usually take place in real workshop conditions, using a professional kiln and a wide range of colours from the Master Glazier’s collection.
- As a matter of priority, the courses take place in a historical, artistic and architectural setting. This offers the students living examples of the art and its applications, which are always therefore accessible to everyone during the course.
- The friendly, interpersonal nature of the courses helps to forge bonds of friendship that last well beyond the end of the course.
- A limited number of participants per workshop means that everyone can benefit from the entire course. A personalised certificate is issued at the end of the course.
- Languages spoken: English, German and Spanish…
You can also join the ‘ARTISTS & HERITAGE’ association to support their work.
