The tapestry project
The idea evolved to depict the history of Port-Vendres from the Phoenicians to 2020, representing hours of research. They are testimony to many discussions about artistic interpretation. and decisions about how to present each historic theme, and debates over
21 framed panels, 70 cm. square, are now dedicated to the town of Port-Vendres.
Exhibition
in this exhibition you are invited to travel over time with the embroiderers who have discovered many fascinating stories.
The tapestry will then await its permanent home, where it is hoped to prove an added attraction to our visitors
