To mark the occasion of the bicentenary of Port-Vendres, our president Michèle Grau welcomed the delegation from Yorktown (Port-Vendres’ twin town) for a special visit. This took place on Friday, September 1st.
Accompanied by Clara Silber, who is also a very active member of our small group of volunteers, the president and the other members of the delegation discovered our new premises. They were extremely interested and very enthusiastic about our watercolour exhibition. Michèle presented them with the book “Mr Mackintosh” as a souvenir.
We wish them a safe journey back to Virginia.
