As with all Associations formed under the law of 1901, the Association must collect the votes of its members, relative to the morale, finances, candidature for vacant administrative post,  and seek your opinion on our propositions for future action.

Exceptionally, to take account of the current health context (the limited number of places in the rooms), and to minimise the risks of contamination by Covid 19, the AGM of the C R Mackintosh Association will take place in the Cultural Centre in Port-Vendres on 8th April 2021 at 15.30. It will be held in the room on the ground floor, without the physical presence of the members, but only in the presence of the members of the administrative council (CA) and institutional representatives

They will be available to members or future members on 8th April between 14.30 and 15.30 in the Cultural centre, Place Castellane, the Association’s HQ.

We plan to transmit this meeting via the Zoom application knowing that the Cultural centre does not have Wifi and we need to put a connection in place

In the case where  the sanitary measure don’t allow us to meet,  the whole AGM will be held with Zoom.

In any case the invitations will be published shortly.

Something new for this year – you have the possibility to pay your membership on line through the site Helloasso. You will instantly receive your membership card and a fiscal receipt which you are able to send in at the end of the fiscal year

Press the button   ADHERER “Join”

On the day of their joining, the members votes can be by their choice, electronic or postal before day (J?), or on the day of the AGM in the Cultural centre, before members of the CA and respecting all protective measures

Please note that all the reports concerning the function of the Association will be sent to members at the same time as the invitation to the AGM

All the detailed financial documents will be available for consultation.

Current members will be alerted by e-mail and will receive all necessary documentation for the vote

As in the past you are also able to join by completing the form (en telechargement?) and sending it to us by post (or dropping it in), to the address of the president,

Mme Michele Grau

Why support us?

The Scottish couple Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret MacDonald Mackintosh,  came to the Pyrenees Orientales department from 1923 to 1927.

The celebrated architect, designer and painter made about 40 watercolours here, which are now found principally in Scottish museums.

The C R Mackintosh association has created 3 interpretation centres  (p

Port-Vendres,  Belesta and Amelie-les-Bains Palada), to promote and bring to life the picturesque works of the artist.

It has also  installed 30 reproductions of the watercolours across the department, where the artist placed his easel.

But they have now suffered weathering and need to be restored. Sales image below shows a badly damaged panel and the image to the right that with which we wish to replace it.

Happily they are not all in this state!

The management and maintenance of all these requires both human (volunteers from the association) and financial resources.

This is why we  invite you to support our work as a member and/or make a donation to the Association.”Faire un don Ă  l’association”

Nor should you hesitate to contact us if you would like to join our volunteer group:
