For many years a member and volunteer for our association, Barbara has devoted herself to the plastic arts for more than forty years and masters many of her fields: drawing, acrylic painting, painting on silk, pastel…
In all of these practices, the use of color played an important role. For landscapes and other figurative paintings she used local colors, but for abstracts her use of color is expressionistic.
She has recently focused mainly on weaving using strips of paper so that the color is no longer just on the surface but is an integral part of the work.
